I think July is starting to become “Jovi July” here on the RedGear Music channel. 🤣😂 This is the 3rd year in a row that I have done a Bon Jovi drum cover in the month of July. I don’t know how much longer I can keep this up. Kind of tired of it by now but we’ll see if I go for a 4th next year. Any who, yea this cover has been on my list for a while and every time I hear it, I think of the scene from Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back when Shannon Elizabeth comes walking in to Mooby’s. “Dude, I filled the cup” 🤣 It’s a rockin’ track with killer parts laid down by the one and only Tico Torres. 🤘😎🤘
The kit is pretty much a reuse of all my other Bon Jovi kits with just minor tweaks to fit in with the drumless backing track. The Rock Foundry SDX makes up a majority of the kit, with a sprinkling of the SD3 Core Library, and then the Alt-Rock EZX & Latin Percussion EZX layered together for the quick cowbell hits at the very beginning of the song.
This download will be the complete Superior Drummer 3 tracked MIDI performance in .sd3p format created and played by me, as displayed on my YouTube channel, using the following Superior Drummer 3 libraries:
