I’ve never been a huge Volbeat fan. But since I will be seeing them on February 18th when I go and see Ghost, I figured I should brush up on their tunes. The first track I landed on was this one, Shotgun Blues. Holy shit! The riff is just massive, and the drumming is EXACTLY my style! You know what that means?! DRUM COVER! I had a lot of fun covering this one, as you can probably tell, but the fast section was throwing me off for a while because the placement of the double kicks. With enough practice it started to feel natural.
